Today you will arrive to Casablanca and meet your guide and driver outside the terminal building to start your Moroccan adventure. Once you are connected, you can head in to the city of Casablanca and get things squared away. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the 2nd largest in Africa and 7th largest in the world and one of the few mosques in the world that non-Muslims may enter. You can spend some time before or after having a meal, getting things settled at the bank machine or topping up some data with a new SIM card. As you like you can stop for lunch. When you are ready, take a 1.5 hr drive north to Rabat. The capital city of Morocco, here you find a cosmopolitan city with broad avenues and white buildings. Enjoy a walk through the Kasbah Oudayas and see their gardens and lovely view over the Atlantic. Take in the mausoleum of Hassan II, the previous King of Morocco and the grounds where an unfinished minaret rests. Or you can go to Riad and enjoy a quiet evening of relaxing and leave the sightseeing in Rabat until tomorrow.
Casablanca - Rabat

As you depart Rabat in the morning, you’ll head east through gently rolling countryside. The drive offers a glimpse of rural Morocco—olive groves, farmland, and small villages passing by as the Atlantic influence gives way to the heart of the country. By late morning, the journey reaches Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and a quieter, more relaxed counterpart to Fes. You can choose to stop and explore the historic core, with time to admire the monumental Bab Mansour, considered one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco. A short walk reveals remnants of Sultan Moulay Ismail’s grand vision for the city, including royal granaries, old stables, and lively local squares that still pulse with daily life. Next you’ll continue north toward the rolling hills of the Zerhoun region, arriving at the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis. Set amid olive trees with sweeping views of the countryside, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a step back nearly 2.000 years. During a private guided tour, travellers explore impressively preserved mosaics, triumphal arches, and the remains of Roman villas, learning how this once-thriving outpost functioned at the edge of the Roman Empire. After a 1 hour visit to Volubilus, the journey continues to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. As the city comes into view, minarets and ancient walls hint at the medieval medina within. Arrival is typically in the late afternoon or early evening, just as the city begins to glow in the softer light of day’s end. Drive time: 4 hours, plus sightseeing and meal stops
